ECR Minerals (LSE:ECR) is a mineral exploration and development company with a diverse portfolio of interests located around the world. It owns a 100pc interest in a series of gold exploration licences across central Victoria in Australia. These include areas called Avoca, Bailieston, Creswick, Moormbool, and Timor. The firm is working to advance these opportunities through a continuous stream of development work.
Alongside this, the company has earned a 25pc interest in the Danglay epithermal gold project. This is located in a prolific gold and copper mining district in the north of the Philippines.
ECR also owns 100pc of the SLM gold project in Argentina. Here, it focuses on identifying small tonnage mesothermal gold deposits suitable for near-term production.
Alongside its current asset base, the company is looking to further diversify its portfolio with additional low-cost, strategically significant gold interests. More recently, the company has also begun looking at assets in the energy metals and minerals space.
