ECR (AIM:ECR) is a mineral exploration and development company listed on AIM, with a strategic objective to deliver the next multi-million ounce gold resource in Australia.
ECR’s wholly owned Australian subsidiary Mercator Gold Australia (“MGA”) has 100% ownership of five gold exploration projects in Central Victoria, Australia.
Exploration activities in Victoria are being led by Dr Rodney Boucher, who has extensive geological experience in the state, including many years of involvement with Perseverance Corporation, the original developers of the highly successful Fosterville gold mine now owned by Kirkland Lake Gold. The Fosterville mine is located in the same district as MGA’s Bailieston and Moormbool projects.
In late 2018, MGA moved into another world-class Australian gold province, the Yilgarn in Western Australia, by applying for nine exploration licences hosting untested gravity-magnetic anomalies representative of potential greenstone-hosted gold trends. This 1600sqkm package is referred to as the Windidda project.
